Creative Strategy is a different breed of marketing communications firm. Our dedicated team of senior-level executives means you get seasoned, strategic thinking, combined with a practical, “get-it-done” attitude. With our diverse national client base in health care, information technology, biotechnology, financial services, publishing, nonprofit, and government, we understand that different clients require different working relationships. For some, we bring high-level expertise to mission-critical projects. For others, we act as an extension of the marketing staff and function as an outsourced marketing team.

We also work hard to maintain a comfortable work environment that extends to the relationships we build with clients, our employees, our vendors, and other industry partners. By investing our time and energy into nurturing these relationships, we believe we not only enhance our value to our clients, but also gain a greater sense of purpose and reward.

Giving Back
For the past six years, Creative Strategy has made holiday donations to charitable organizations in the name of our valued clients. Two of the organizations that we have earmarked as company causes include:

Make-a-Wish Foundation
It’s part of our annual tradition to make a contribution to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. This wonderful organization brightens the days of children with terminal or life-threatening diseases, providing them with the opportunity to enjoy a sunny moment in their challenged lives.

ALS Association
In memory of our former co-worker and friend, Robert Kragh, Creative Strategy annually makes a donation to the ALS Association’s efforts at the grass roots level—fundraising for research, providing referrals, and equipment loan programs—all geared to improve the lives of victims of ALS, more commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s disease.

And, since giving back is not only a corporate initiative, our staff members find the time to support a wide variety of interests and causes too. Creative Strategy acknowledges these personal efforts by making matching donations to these selected charities.

Community Initiatives by Our Clients

Many of our clients actively make ongoing monetary and service contributions to their communities. We are proud to highlight their efforts and involvement on our website.

The Michael & Laura Brader-Araje Foundation
As founder and president of OpenSite Technologies (acquired by Siebel Systems in early 2000), Michael Brader-Araje, and his wife, Laura, created their North Carolina foundation in 2000 to support key social needs with innovative programs. Foundation grants over the past three years have focused on community programs, education, entrepreneurship, health, and special projects.

Brader-Araje Leads Effort to Bring DonorsChoose to NC
Launched in February 2004, DonorsChooseNC is a nonprofit website where public school teachers and individual donors connect to give students the resources they need to learn. Michael Brader-Araje led the effort to make North Carolina the first expansion site for DonorsChoose outside of New York. Fifteen school districts were chosen to participate in the pilot expansion, and all North Carolina school districts are expected to be online in late 2004. Since the site was first launched in New York in 2000, it has delivered over $800,000 worth of resources and experiences to needy school children in New York City.

(NOTE: Creative Strategy has had the privilege of serving as marketing firm for OpenSite Technologies, before working with the Brader-Araje Foundation.)
